WRAL WeatherCenter Blog : How to calculate relative humidity
WRAL WeatherCenter Blog : I was taught in the School of Meterology (Syracuse University'76) that a tornado will always travel in a northeastly direction. So if you know where you are in relation to where the tornado is, you can avoid it. Example; if a tornado is in Cary, and you're in Raleigh . . . you should head northwest. Or if Clayton, head due west. I never hear this fact on TV. Still true? Also, stay in the rain. If it's raining where you are, tornados and rain don't mix! Thanks. Tony Palaganas
