No one takes beer, liquor, nudy mags or porn off the shelves. why take a dollar lottery ticket? people will spend their money however they want rich or poor. I see people using food stamps for food and have 2 cases of beer they have to pay for out of their money at the grocery store. so people need to shut up grow up and realize, we all are going to do what we want with what money we have

You guys wouldn't even be here talking on this forum if YOU had hit the $200 mil jackpot, and you probably would care less about poor people playing the lottery afterwards. Money might not buy happiness, but it sure makes being unhappy a whole lot easier. Get over it and let people live their own lives. If they want to spend their last dollar on a ticket, let 'em. They SHOULD be an adult.

typical self-righteous person - on your high horse about poor people being added the burden of the lottery, but peeved because you can't buy your fru-fru latte without those pesky poor people holding up the line. are we still having this anti-lottery conversation? get over it, it's here to stay. people do make thier own choices - so stop being some half-assed robin hood. if you are going to critize, at least get your facts straight - or are you not willing to help those rich, well to do SCHOOLKIDS?

Taking from the poor to line the pockets of the rich. How come we are still in need of more schools?Wasn't that the reason for the Lottery? I don't play, never have.Just waiting in line to buy my drink is like being in a welfare line...all you see is poor people. It's a shame this burden has been added to them. But once again they make their own choices.

Guess I cant start singing "Take this job and shove it...."
