Hagan, Burr express concern over health care funding
The Democratic-controlled House on Saturday narrowly passed the health care reform legislation, 220-215, but the road ahead in the Senate promises to be rocky. North Carolina senators Kay Hagan and Richard Burr both expressed concern Sunday over paying for the $1.2 trillion bill.

Wake County distributing large H1N1 vaccine shipment
Wake County will hold five clinics Monday to distribute more than 6,000 doses of the H1N1 vaccine. That's close to the total amount of doses the county gave out in all of October.

Cooking oil gets kicked to curb in Raleigh
Lots of turkeys will be cooked in the next two months. The City of Raleigh hopes the cooks will use a new recycling program to get rid of used cooking oil.
