Fireworks truck explodes; one dead, four injuredA truck carrying fireworks exploded at Ocracoke Island's South Ferry Terminal Saturday morning, killing one person and critically injuring four others. Hyde County authorities say the victims belonged to a crew setting up for the town's Independence Day display.

Family: Missing Rocky Mount woman was friends with women found deadYolanda Lancaster, 36, was reported missing on March 30, according to police records. Family said Lancaster knew two of the women who were found dead in Rocky Mount.
