The transfer portal window for college basketball is open for most players.

Some men's basketball players have made their intentions known. Here's a look at which players are on the move from (and who is coming to) North Carolina, NC State and Duke.

Duke

Duke has had seven players enter the transfer portal as of April 18. That's in addition to losing Kyle Filipowski and Jared McCain as early entrants in the NBA Draft.

Guards Tyrese Proctor and Caleb Foster announced they would return to coach Jon Scheyer's squad, which is bringing in the top-ranked recruiting class led by Cooper Flagg.

Guard Jeremy Roach entered the portal after four seasons in Durham and was the last remaining player from the Coach K era. Roach committed to Baylor.

Forward Mark Mitchell is entering the transfer portal after two seasons in Durham, according to a report from On3 Sports. Mitchell, a former five-star recruit in 2022 out of Kansas City, Kansas, averaged 11.6 points and six rebounds in 33 games last season. Mitchell committed to Missouri on April 19.

Christian Reeves, who battled injury problems and redshirted the 2023-2024 season, entered the portal. Reeves will have three years of eligibility remaining. Jaden Schutt and Jaylen Blakes have entered the portal.

Sophomore-to-be TJ Power, a former top-20 recruit, announced he was transferring on April 18. The 6-foot-9 Power played in 26 games as a freshman and averaged 2.1 points per game.

Sophomore-to-be Sean Stewart announced he was transferring on April 19. Stewart averaged 2.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in 33 games as a freshman. He had 12 points and six rebounds in a season-high 26 minutes in the Blue Devils' victory over NC State on March 4. Stewart played in all four of Duke's NCAA Tournament games.

The Blue Devils have gotten commitments from former Purdue forward Mason Gillis and former Syracuse forward Maliq Brown.

Gillis played four seasons for the Boilermakers, who reached the NCAA Tournament title game in 2024. He averaged 6.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game for Purdue, while shooting 46.8% from 3-point range on 3.2 attempts per game. Brown, a 6-foot-8 sophomore, played two seasons with Syracuse. He averaged 9.5 points and shot 36.8% from 3-point range in 2023-24. He also was named to the ACC's All-Defenisve team.

NC State

Former NC State guard LJ Thomas announced he's transferring to Austin Peay on his Instagram page. Thomas, who played at Bull Durham Prep in Durham, played in 30 games his freshman season. During the 2023-2024 season, he played in 12 games, scoring 31 points total.

Brandon Huntley-Hatfield announced on social media that he is transferring to NC State from Louisville. Huntley-Hatfield averaged a career-high 12.9 points per game in 2023-2024. Huntley-Hatfield is a 6-foot-10, 240-pound junior from Clarksville, Tennessee.

Walk-on Alex Nunnally announced on social media that he is transferring. Nunnally, from Cary, played in 23 games over the last three seasons for NC State. He played seven minutes this year for the Wolfpack.

Ernest Ross and Kam Woods have also entered the portal from NC State's Final Four team.

Former North Carolina guard Dontrez Styles, who played last season at Georgetown, has committed to NC State, according to multiple reports. Styles, who is from Kinston, averaged 12.8 points and 5.8 rebounds for the Hoyas last season.

Former Louisville guard Mike James committed to NC State, he announced on social media. James spent three seasons at Louisville, playing in each of the last two. He averaged 11.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game over 64 games for the Cardinals.

Forward Mohamed Diarra has declared his intentions to enter the NBA Draft.

UNC

Former Belmont guard Cade Tyson committed to UNC, he announced on social media on April 28. Tyson, a 6-foot-7 guard from Monroe, played two seasons at Belmont. He averaged 16.2 points per game as a sophomore, shooting 46.5% from 3-point range. Tyson averaged 5.9 rebounds per game. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

Guards RJ Davis and Elliot Cadeau are apparently returning to North Carolina for the 2024-25 season, according to CBS Sports' Matt Norlander.

Norlander cited an unnamed source about Davis returning to Chapel Hill for his fifth and final season. Norlander said an official announcement is expected in the next few days.

Guard Seth Trimble announced on social media that he would return to the Tar Heels. He previously announced he was entering the transfer portal.

"I've taken time to realize where my home is," Trimble said. "After much consideration, I've decided my heart and soul belong in Chapel Hill."

Trimble was a key contributor off the bench as a sophomore for UNC, averaging 5.2 points and 2.1 rebounds per game in 17 minutes per game. Trimble, third in ACC 6th man of the year voting, was the team's best on-ball perimeter defender.

Forward James Okonkwo is expected to enter the portal after one season in Chapel Hill. Okonkwo transferred to UNC after two seasons at West Virginia. He appeared in 15 games last season.

Forward Harrison Ingram, who was a starter and, at times, one of the Tar Heels' best players during his lone season in Chapel Hill, declared for the NBA Draft.
