DURHAM, N.C. — Two Duke basketball stars have declared for the NBA Draft.

Jared McCain and Kyle Filipowski made their decisions known on Friday.

McCain posted a tribute video on X, adding "Thank you Duke."

"Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for Coach [Jon] Scheyer," McCain said in the video. "I'm forever grateful for the opportunity he gave me."

McCain's best game this season came in a 35-point performance against Florida State in which he hit eight 3-pointers. He won ACC Rookie of the Week honors twice.

Filipowski was a second-team All-American selection this season. His freshman season, he won ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Tournament MVP in helping Duke to an ACC championship.

"After careful consideration and consultation with those closest to me, I have decided to declare for the NBA Draft," Filipowski said in a statement.

Duke's roster has seen considerable turnover so far, with Mark Mitchell and Christian Reeves entering the transfer portal. That's likely because highly-praised recruits Cooper Flagg, Isaiah Evans, Khaman Maluach and Kon Knueppel are all arriving in Durham as freshmen next season. Guard Jeremy Roach has one year of eligibility remaining, but has not yet announced his plans for next season.

The draft will happen on June 26-27.
