Gov. Roy Cooper honors NC State's national champion women's cross country team

Raleigh, N.C. — Days after NC State won its first ACC Basketball championship in 37 years, another Wolfpack team received huge honors on Monday at the Governor's mansion.
Gov. Roy Cooper hosted NC State's 2023 national championship women's cross country team.
Gov. Cooper signed a proclamation proclaiming March 18 as a day in recognition of the team.
Track and field coach Laurie Henes and her team have now won three straight championships. In their most recent title, they beat Arizona State by one point.
