Portland 2 region: No. 3 seed NC State to play No. 14 seed Chattanooga

No. 3 seeded NC State (27-6, 13-5 ACC) will open the NCAA Tournament at home, at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh. The Wolfpack will face No. 14 seed Chattanooga (28-4, 13-1 Southern) on Saturday.

The game tips off at 2:30 p.m. and will be shown on ESPNU. Ticket information is available here, with Wolfpack Club members holding priority status.

NC State women's basketball team is set to make its 29th appearance in the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament.

The Wolfpack will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament in Raleigh.

NC State lost to Notre Dame 55-51 in the ACC Tournament championship.

Chattanooga won the Southern Conference championship game 69-60 on March 10 against UNC Greensboro. The Mocs enter the NCAA Tournament on a five-game winning streak.

The winner of the NC State-Chattanooga game will take on the winner of the game between sixth-seeded Tennessee and 11th-seeded Green Bay.

The winner in that second-round matchup will head to Portland, Oregon, for regional action from March 29 to April 1. The Final Four will be held in Cleveland the weekend of April 5-7.

Portland 3 region: No. 7 Duke to play No. 10 Richmond in Columbus, Ohio

No. 7 seeded Duke (20-11, 11-7 ACC) will play No. 10 Richmond (29-5, 16-2 Atlantic 10) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Columbus, Ohio.

The game tips off at 2:30 p.m. ET Friday and will be televised on ESPNews.

The Duke women's basketball team is making its second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance under head coach Kara Lawson. It's also the Blue Devils' 26th all-time appearance in the tournament.

The winner between Duke-Richmond will play the winner of the game between No. 2 seed Ohio State and No. 15 seed Maine.

Duke lost to NC State 54-51 on March 8 in the ACC Tournament quarterfinal.

The Spiders are coming off an Atlantic 10 Conference championship run, winning the title for the first time in program history and the first since the 1991 season.

Richmond will make an appearance in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2005, and the program's fourth appearance overall.

Albany 1 region: No. 8 North Carolina to play No. 9 Michigan State in Columbia, South Carolina

No. 8 seeded North Carolina (19-12, 11-7 ACC) will play No. 9 seeded Michigan State (22-8, 12-6 Big Ten) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Columbia, South Carolina at 11:30 a.m. ET Friday. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

The winner will likely play the No. 1 overall seed South Carolina on Sunday in the second round. South Carolina faces the winner of the First Four game between 16 seeds Presbyterian and Sacred Heart.

It marks the fourth year in a row North Carolina has made the NCAA Tournament and the 31st appearance overall.
