The US Open lost two complete days to rain in New York this week, forcing a revision of the original schedule. Here's how to find the tennis (or TV programs) that you expect this weekend.
The semifinals begin Saturday on WRAL-TV at noon, with Roger Federer taking on top-seed Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray facing defending champion Rafael Nadal.
If tennis runs past 6 p.m., WRAL News could be shifted later.
The women's semis pair Caroline Wozniacki against Serena Williams and Angelique Kerber against Samantha Stosur. Coverage on WRAL-TV begins at 8 p.m. Saturday.
The women's final is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Sunday. WRAL-TV will join the tennis tournament immediately after the end of the 1 p.m. NFL game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens.
There is no 6 p.m. news on WRAL-TV on Sunday.
The men's final will air in the Triangle Monday at 4 p.m. on FOX 50. The programs regularly scheduled in that time slot will return on Tuesday. WRAL-TV will broadcast regularly scheduled programs on Monday afternoon, including "The Young and the Restless."
