It is a big weekend for the Durham Bulls, They're up against the Charlotte Knights Friday through Sunday at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, and the schedule includes some fun promotions. The team will celebrate Christmas in July on Saturday, so dress accordingly. And after the Sunday game, kids will be able to run the bases!
The Carolina Mudcats have home games Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Five County Stadium in Zebulon. On Friday, you can bring your dog for Bark in the Park. Just be sure to buy a dog ticket for your dog and fill out a waiver. Check the website for details.
At 5:40 Sunday, July 25, the Holly Spring Salamanders will host the Florence RedWolves at Ting Stadium.
At 8:30 p.m., Saturday, July 24, Joyner Park in Wake Forest will be hosting a family outdoor movie night featuring the live-action version of Aladdin. Space is limited, so you are encouraged to arrive early. It's free.
At 8:30 p.m., Saturday, July 24, Dix Park will have a Scary Movie Night where they plan to show the movie Scream. The gates open at 7 p.m. Tickets are required in advance, but they are free.
At 9 p.m, Saturday, July 24, the North Carolina Museum of Art will be hosting an outdoor movie night featuring the movie Clueless. Tickets are required. They are $7 for non-museum members and free for museum members and kids ages 6 and under.
From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m, Saturday, July 24, at the North Carolina Museum of History, visitors can pick up a craft bag and go on a scavenger hunt through the exhibit “History in Every Direction.” You then can take the bag home to do some fun crafts and activities.
