Partly cloudy skies and chilly. Lows in the upper 20s-lower 30s. We had plenty of blue skies today with some high, thin cirrus clouds streaming by from time to time. We will continue to see these clouds filter into the state this evening and overnight and thicken toward daybreak. Temperatures will be on the cool side this evening and hover in the lower 40s by 8PM and then into the 30s by 10PM. the addition of our cloud cover may slow the cooling so we only really anticipate to reach the lower 30s by daybreak. Winds will be light tonight

Partly to mostly cloudy skies to start the day with thickening cloud cover this afternoon with the chance for some light rain and sprinkles. Highs in the mid-upper 50s. Our arctic air mass is on the way and should move through the state tonight and tomorrow morning. Ahead of the front we have upper level energy which should yield the development of low pressure to our south and west of the state this afternoon. This system will move over us this evening and overnight bringing us the chance for some rain. The real cold punch of air should really arrive until tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night!
