Wake County Schools
The Wake County Public School System is inviting the public to meet the three final candidates hoping to lead the state's largest school district.
A bill that would put the Wake County Board of Commissioners in control of area school buildings and land moved closer to passage Wednesday, despite criticism that it was politically motivated.
The Wake County Board of Education on Tuesday unanimously approved a $1.3 billion proposed budget for 2013-14.
