— A Fayetteville man pleaded guilty Monday to federal charges of child sex trafficking, authorities said.

Christopher Jason Williams, 33, of Windy Hill Circle, pleaded guilty to two counts of sex trafficking of children. He will be sentenced later and faces a minimum of 10 years in prison.

In January, a 14-year-old girl told police that Williams had held her against her will for several weeks at a Fayetteville home, had sex with her and forced her and another girl to perform sex acts for money. Police later found a 15-year-old girl locked in the attic of Williams' home.

Investigators said the girls had been captive for up to several months, and Williams beat them and threatened to kill them and their relatives if they tried to escape. Meanwhile, he posted nude pictures of them online, advertising that they were available for sex.

Hundreds of images of child pornography were found on Williams' cellphone, many depicting the two girls, authorities said.

"up to 10 years"? Are you kidding me? He should never see the light of day again. Those poor girls, and who know how many other victims are out there over the years because of this monster!

why is that all the charges they got on him. what about kidnapping, child abuse, rape, indecent libs with a minor, assault, and federal sex charges? Maybe they know they can give him a life sentence with just the one charge i don't know.

Kidnapping used to carry the death penalty. This guy should get that twice. His customers are also guilty of rape.

Sure hope the general population takes care of him when he is in prison because a Min of 10 years to sell children for sex is definitely not enough punishment. Not at all!

Ten years is not enough, but the general population will take care of him.

Funny, a teenage boy gets more time than that for statutory rape...

He should be facing more than a minimum of 10 years for what he has done. This crime should have stiffer punishment especially when they found a girl locked up in his home. This guy does not need to be out in society ever. I am glad they caught him but lets just hope he stays locked up since the death penalty apparently is not an option.

He "...faces a minimum of 10 years in prison...". Hope he gets a 100 years for each charge.
