RALEIGH, N.C. — I wrote the other week about how some local children's consignment sales were canceling their spring and summer sales or making some hard decisions. Here's an update about one longtime popular sale that will be running in a new format because of COVID.

Triangle Parents of Multiples' Take Two Kidsignment Sale will take place from noon to 4 p.m., April 24. But it won't be held like a traditional consignment sale, inside and with items from every seller mixed together.

Instead, it will take place as a yard sale, outside, in the parking lot of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7000 Creedmoor Rd., Raleigh.

Each seller will have their own booths, and accepted payment forms will vary by seller, the sale chair tells me. Booths will be spaced to allow for social distancing while shopping and mask wearing will be required to enter the event. The sale features mostly gently used clothes, toys and gear for babies and kids. Everything is sold by members of the group.

The rain date is set for May 1. More information is on the group's website.
And you can check Go Ask Mom's consignment sale database for details about other sales.
