The North Carolina Courage on Friday announced the addition of 17-year-old midfielder Riley Jackson.
Jackson, who was co-captain of the U.S. Youth National Team in the U-17 World Cup in 2022 and the 2021-22 Gatorade National Girls Soccer Player of the Year, chose to skip college and go pro with the contract.

She met the media on Friday and will be introduced to the Courage fans at halftime of the team’s Challenge Cup match on Saturday. The Courage host the Orlando Pride on Saturday, July 29, at 7 p.m.
