Country star and NC native Luke Combs picks UNC to win championship, NC State to reach Elite 8

A North Carolina native and country music star is picking the Tar Heels to win their seventh national championship.

Luke Combs shared his bracket on social media on Thursday morning, revealing his selection for UNC to beat Houston in the championship game.

Combs also selected NC State to reach the Elite Eight and Duke to make the Sweet Sixteen.

Combs, who was born in Huntersville, attended Appalachian State, but has made his UNC fandom clear on social media. He's also a big Carolina Panthers fan.

The Tar Heels start NCAA Tournament play on Thursday afternoon at 2:45 against Wagner in Charlotte.
