RALEIGH, N.C. — You might want to mark your calendar for a couple of outdoor family-friendly movie screenings this summer at Raleigh's Dix Park. As you watch the movies, you'll get a view of the Raleigh skyline.
Here's the schedule:
Saturday, July 20, Incredibles 2
- 7 p.m. - Seating and Vendors Open
- 7:45 p.m .- Children's Superhero Parade and Costume Contest (ages 12 and under)
- 8 p.m. - Movie starts
Saturday, Aug. 17, Cars 3
- 6 p.m. - Seating and Vendors Open
- 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. - Touch-a-Truck Event
- 8 p.m. - Movie Starts
If you go, be sure to bring chairs and blankets to sit on. You're also welcome to pack a picnic or buy a meal or snacks from on-site vendors at each show. The series is free. More information about these and other events, including how to RSVP for them, is on the Dix Park website.
