DURHAM, N.C. — Representatives from 100 colleges and universities are scheduled to attended the annual Durham College Fair, which is hosted by Durham Public Schools and Durham Technical Community College.

The annual event takes place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sept. 30, at Northgate Mall in Durham.

“The annual College Fair is an exciting event for students and families across Durham Public Schools," said James Futrell, Durham Public School Director of Student Services for Engagement and Access, in a news release. "The experience represents the preparation to ensure students at all grade levels are prepared for life beyond high school. We welcome all students and families to participate and engage in the college access conversation that leads to enrollment."

Both two and four-year private and public schools from across the state and the country will be on hand to meet with people and answer questions. Durham Public School high school counselors will also be on-site to help students navigate the large number of participating institutions, according to the release.

It's free and open to the public. Northgate is at 1058 West Club Blvd., Durham.

And, don't forget, a high school fair is scheduled in October at St. Timothy's School in Raleigh.
