Mark your calendars: High school fair scheduled for October

The school year just started, but if you will have a rising ninth grader next year, it might be time to consider your high school options and mark this event on your calendar.

St. Timothy's School's High School Fair is 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Oct. 1, in the school's gymnasium. St. Timothy's is at 4523 Six Forks Rd., just north of North Hills.

During the event, which is free and open to the public, representatives from local schools, including private, charter, and public, and local and out-of-state boarding schools will be on hand to showcase their programs and answer any questions you have. Nearly 60 high schools are scheduled to participate.
