Garner police say pedestrian struck and killed Wednesday night
Garner police said a man was struck and killed in a traffic crash that happened Wednesday night.

GARNER, N.C. — Garner police said a man was struck and killed in a traffic crash that happened Wednesday night.
Officials confirmed on their Facebook page a man was hit on Timber Drive just north of Hwy. 70. Police said the call came in at 7:20 p.m.
The man was transported to WakeMed in critical condition, police said. He died at the hospital.
The man's identification has not been released pending notification of next of kin. Officers were still investigating the cause of the crash Wednesday night.
