DURHAM, N.C. — The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck, which was a huge hit when it stopped in Raleigh in 2018 and 2019, is coming back.

The all-pink cafe on wheels will be parked at The Streets at Southpoint at Cinema Circle from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, July 17. That is this Saturday.

The truck will feature some new goodies and limited-edition collectibles, according to a press release. They include a pink Hello Kitty Cafe T-shirt, a stainless rainbow thermos, a Hello Kitty Cafe cookie plush and some hand-decorated cookies, among other items.

Staff will be mindful of the ongoing pandemic, wearing masks and gloves inside the truck, providing social-distancing markers for guests and regularly wiping down counters and payment readers. The truck will accept only credit or debit payments — no cash.

Guests are encouraged to wear a face mask, keep distance from others and, of course, stay home if they're sick with a cough or fever.

Check the Facebook event page for details.
