All Costco members and guests will be required to wear a mask or face covering starting May 4. There are some exceptions to this policy, but it will apply to most people.

According to their website, the mask or face covering must cover the mouth and nose at all times while in Costco. Children under the age of 2 or individuals who are unable to wear a mask or face covering due to a medical condition will not be required to wear one.

The company indicated that "the use of a mask or face covering should not be seen as a substitute for social distancing. Please continue to observe rules regarding appropriate distancing while on Costco premises."

Capacity Limits: In addition, Costco will only allow 2 people to enter the store per membership card.
Adjusted Store Hours: At this time, Costco warehouses will close at 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Costco gas stations will open at 7:30 a.m. each day and close at 7 p.m. on weekdays and 6:30 p.m. on weekends.
At-Risk Shopping Hours: Costco warehouses are offering special shopping hours for members ages 60 and older, and for those with physical impairments from 8 am to 9 am Tuesday through Thursday. The pharmacy will also be open during the at-risk shopping times.
