NC 'Cuegrass Festival 2019 (The Pit - Raleigh, 328 W Davie St, Raleigh) - The Pit's 11th Annual 'Cuegrass Festival returns to the warehouse district in downtown Raleigh on Saturday. Enjoy a day filled with barbecue, craft beer and bluegrass.
French Market and Seafood Festival (Lafayette Village, 8450 Honeycutt Rd, Raleigh) - Lafayette Village in north Raleigh hosts this festival on Saturday. There will be live music, a seafood boil, face painting and more fun.

Comedy, theater and more

High Fidelity Screening and Conversation with John Cusack (Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, 2 E. South St., Raleigh) - See a screening of this comedy and enjoy a conversation with its star John Cusack at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium on Saturday night.
Anastasia (Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - Inspired by the beloved film, this musical transports you from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out on a journey to discover the mystery of her past. See it through Sunday.
Jay Pharoah (Goodnight's Comedy Club/The Grille at Goodnight's, 861 W. Morgan St., Raleigh) - The actor, stand-up comedian and impressionist will be at Goodnight's Comedy Club Thursday through Saturday.
The Dangling Loafer (Kings, 14 W Martin St., Raleigh) - This monthly local comedy series continues on Friday night at Kings in downtown Raleigh.
Sinbad (Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Meymandi Concert Hall, 2 E. South St., Raleigh) - Ranked by Comedy Central as one of the "100 Greatest Standups of All Time," actor and comedian Sinbad has had audiences laughing for over three decades. See him Saturday at Meymandi Concert Hall.
Durham Bulls: African American Heritage Night (Durham Bulls Athletic Park, 409 Blackwell St., Durham) - To celebrate the history of African American heritage in baseball, the whole team will wear "42" jerseys during Saturday's game.
