Actor John Cusack is headed to downtown Raleigh in April to screen one of his popular films.

The actor will be at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts on April 20 for a screening of "High Fidelity," according to the event presenter, the Backlot Project. Tickets went on sale Friday for the event.

In the 2000 comedy, Cusack stars as record shop owner Rob Gordon, who is searching for love by looking at the reasons behind his failed relationships. It is all set amid the backdrop of music from various decades. The film also co-stars Jack Black.

Following the screening, Cusack will participate in a conversation about making the film and his nearly 30 years career. Cusack, 52, has appeared in more than 50 movies, including "Say Anything" and "Eight Men Out."

The Backlot Project hosts events like this featuring other actors across the country.
