RALEIGH, N.C. — Cool Runnings Jamaican has been a staple at the N.C. State Fair for the past 18 years.

You can only get their food at the fair, as they don't have a food truck or permanent brick-and-mortar location.

Their hard work paid off last week when their jerk pork wrap with mango sauce was named the "Media's Choice for Best New Food at the Fair." Sweet and spicy, this wrap was the perfect balance of flavors, and that mango sauce is really good.

Stephen and Andrea Millington do have day jobs. Stephen is an IT technician in Durham, while Andrea is an account in Raleigh, according to the N.C. State Fair. They take vacation time to operate the booth, which serves up family recipes.

The jerk pork wrap is popular but also try their other dishes include jerk barbecue wings and jerk chicken.

Cool Runnings is located across from the Waterfall in front of Dorton Arena.
