MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. — A Mount Olive woman is accused of stealing her former boss’s credit card and using it to shop at Wal-Mart, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.

Investigators said they were reviewing purchase activity on a credit card that was reported stolen and found the card had been used about five times at area Wal-Mart stores. Security video from the stores showed the same woman using the card each time, police said.

The business owner who reported the stolen card positively identified the suspect from the video as Jessica Leigh Swinson, 30, of the 800 block of Norwood Ezell Road. Swinson was the business owner’s former secretary, police said.

She was charged with unlawful obtaining credit card, financial card fraud and obtaining property by false pretense. She was held on a $7,500 secured bond.
