Police seek motorcyclist in Fayetteville shooting death

Police said Wednesday they are searching for a man seen fleeing the scene of a fatal Fayetteville shooting on a motorcycle.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police said Wednesday they are searching for a man seen fleeing the scene of a fatal Fayetteville shooting on a motorcycle.

Angela Taylor, 32, was shot at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday while she was walking near the intersection of Andy and Ike streets. She was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where she died.

A man on a cruiser-style motorcycle and wearing a bright-colored shirt was seen fleeing the area of Andy Street onto Bragg Boulevard moments after the shooting, police said.

Anyone who can identify the motorcyclist or has information about the shooting is asked to call Detective M. Wooten at 910-391-8630 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
