Halifax County Stalking Suspect Arrested
Damien Mitchell was arrested for two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor stalking.

The Halifax County sheriff’s office arrested a 25-year-old Roanoke Rapids area man on Thursday for outstanding warrants.
Police spotted Damien Mitchell driving on Highway 48 near P&J trailer park and pulled over his vehicle.
Mitchell was arrested for two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor stalking.
No bond had been set and Mitchell’s next court date is May 28.
