Yoga for Kids: Help kids relax with this sequence

Suzanne Oliver, a mom of two and instructor at StudioVIBE in Cary, shares a quick yoga sequence aimed at helping kids relax.

Patty Geiger, owner of StudioVIBE in Cary, and Jamie Sharp, an instructor who built the studio's youth programs, were our moms of the week this week. I featured them on Monday.

StudioVIBE is back today and the next few Wednesdays to offer some simple yoga sequences and breathing exercises for kids and their adults.

Today, Suzanne Oliver, a mom of two and StudioVIBE instructor, along with 12-year-old Abigail Clarke, and eight-year-old Aliyah Berry, demonstrate a quick yoga sequence that can help kids relax.

"The kids can do it any time of the day just when they need to calm down or have a few moments to themselves," Oliver tells me.

Watch the video to see how it's done. StudioVIBE offers classes, one-on-one sessions, camps, birthday parties and more for kids and all kinds of programs for adults. Check back next Wednesday for more yoga for kids.
