Wake Forest park to close this week for work
Holding Park will close so crews can install a natural gas line.

A very quick note to share that Holding Park in Wake Forest will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday (that's Feb. 8 and Feb. 9) so crews can install a natural gas line from South Main Street to the Wake Forest Community House.
The park at 133 W. Owen Ave. is expected to reopen on Thursday (that's Feb. 10).
The forecast looks pretty good for outdoor play, at least in my book, with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s over the next couple of days. If you're looking for another place to play in Wake Forest, I'd recommend Joyner Park.
