Wake County library book sale this week
The sale takes place at the N.C. State Fairgrounds from Thursday to Sunday.
Posted — UpdatedWake County Public Library's massive annual book sale opens to the public Thursday.
It takes place at the N.C. State Fairgrounds' Exposition Center in Raleigh. Hours are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday.
Here's the price structure over the four-day sale:
- Prices start out on Thursday at $4 for hardbound books, $2 for paperbacks and $2 for children's books.
- On Friday, you can buy one book, get one free at those prices.
- On Saturday, the BOGO deal returns - but prices are slashed in half - $2 for hardbound books and $1 for paperbacks and children's books.
- On Sunday, you can take home a box of books for $3.
Boxes will be available while supplies last. There also will be daily door prices. The sale will accept cash, checks and major credit cards.
