Two local moms bring holiday cheer with holiday pop-up market

There is a holiday pop-up market coming up this weekend at Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park in Raleigh.

Two Raleigh moms, Sara Davison and Allison Creagh have joined forces to bring local families some holiday cheer with the Kinly x Thrive Motherhood Holiday Pop Up Market presented by WakeMed Children’s, on Saturday at Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park at North Hills.

The event will feature popular recording artist, Branan Murphy, on stage, a visit from Santa, Elsa, a goat petting zoo and more than 30 vendors.

“I’m really excited to be presenting this event to bring some much needed cheer at the start of this holiday season, after a year and a half that’s been tough on us all,” Davison says. “It’s been a huge team effort to bring this event to life, and we’re especially grateful that our vendors, sponsors and our Premier Sponsor, WakeMed Children’s, who have helped make this event a reality.”

Davison is the founder of Kinly, a community led platform providing support to families of young children by providing free playgroups around the Triangle, access to parenting expert sessions and mama meet-ups. She is also a Go Ask Mom contributor.

She partnered with Thrive Motherhood founder and director Allison Creagh, founder and director of Thrive Motherhood to create the pop-up event. Thrive Motherhood holds playgroups and events for just for moms to help them discover their skills, strength and passions.

“We are two moms with complimentary missions of supporting and empowering other mothers through the work we both do and it made sense for us to combine our skills and efforts to bring this event to life,” says Davison. “We partner on events regularly and this is our biggest event yet.”

The Holiday Pop Up starts at 1 p.m. and wraps at 5 p.m.
