Thanks to demand, Poe Center sets date for second virtual mother-daughter talk

Thanks to demand, the Poe Center for Health Education is offering another virtual session of Girl Talk next month.

Girl Talk, a program for girls in fourth to seventh grade and a parent, is designed to help parents start talking about the physical, social and emotional changes that girls experience during puberty.

The next session is designed specifically for girls and their mothers. It's set for 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, June 6. Registration is $25 for each mother and daughter pair and $10 for each additional daughter.

Once you sign up, you'll get more information about how to join the session via Zoom.
