The man charged with killing Allisha Watts in July will remain in jail under the same bond.
James Dunmore appeared in court on Wednesday in Charlotte, where a judge denied his request to reduce his $1 million secured bond.

Dunmore is charged with the murder of Watts, who disappeared while going to see a comedy show with Dunmore on July 16.
Two days later, Dunmore was found in Watts’ black Mercedes SUV. Dunmore was found unresponsive in the car. Watts’ body was found more than a month later.
A judge set Dunmore's bond at $1 million in October. His lawyers previously requested his bond be lowered in March.
Dunmore’s attorneys have argued he shouldn’t have to wait for his trial from jail, since an autopsy couldn’t determine Watts’ cause of death.
Prosecutors said they are continuing to build evidence they believe links Dunmore to the area where Watts’ body was found.
