Voting rights advocate and political leader Stacey Abrams will visit the Durham Performing Arts Center on November 18 during her speaking tour.

Voting rights advocate and political leader Stacey Abrams will visit the Durham Performing Arts Center on November 18 during her speaking tour.

Abrams has founded organizations devoted to voting rights and is the author of the book, "Lead from the Outside: How to Build Your Future and Make Real Change."

While in Durham, she will speak on politics, leadership, entrepreneurship, social justice, and being a true voice for change.

Audience members at her speech will have a time to be able to ask questions directly to Abrams.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 21, at 12 p.m. You can purchase tickets through the DPAC's website or online at Ticketmaster.
