The Duke men’s basketball team will play nonconference neutral site games against Final Four participant UConn, reigning national champion Michigan and Gonzaga during the 2026-27 season — and all the games will be on Amazon Prime, marking a first for the streaming service.
Duke will take on UConn on Nov. 25, the day before Thanksgiving, in Las Vegas. The Blue Devils will play Michigan on Dec. 21 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The game against Gonzaga is Feb. 20 at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena. The 2027 Final Four will be held in Detroit.

It is part of a multi-year agreement between Amazon and Duke.
“This collaboration not only expands the global reach of Duke Men's Basketball, but also creates meaningful opportunities for our student-athletes in a way that reflects innovation and excellence,” Duke athletics director Nina King said in a statement.
The Blue Devils lost to UConn in the NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight in March. Duke defeated Michigan in a regular-season game in February 2026. The Blue Devils have, in recent years, played marquee nonconference games late in the regular season as preparation for the NCAA Tournament.
ESPN is the ACC’s media rights holder ,and the Blue Devils are the league’s top draw in men’s basketball. In consultation with the ACC, which must give its approval, ESPN agreed to waive certain restrictions for the Blue Devils. Duke said that it has agreed to participate in additional ESPN owned and operated men’s basketball neutral site events during the 2027-28 and 2028-29 season in exchange for the flexibility to participate in the Amazon prime series.
The Blue Devils have reloaded their roster for the 2026-27 season even with the departure of national player of the year Cameron Boozer to the NBA. Duke, under coach Jon Scheyer, won the ACC regular season and tournament titles each of the last two seasons. The Blue Devils reached the Final Four in 2025 behind top NBA rookies Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel and the Elite Eight in 2026 behind Boozer.
Amazon Prime has the live rights to a variety of sports, including the NFL Thursday night games, NBA and WNBA games, New York Yankees games in home market, certain NASCAR races and soccer events and early coverage of the Masters. The Duke games represent Amazon's first foray into college sports.
