Tom Suiter: Rain, Rain Stay Away

Posted Updated

It's hard to believe that the playoffs begin two weeks from this Friday.

Well, rain is in the forecast for Friday. Hopefully, it will begin late enough and not deter a lot of schools from playing. As teams fight for playoff positions, there are some big games -- and what should be some good games -- on the schedule for this Friday.

This Friday, we plan on having crews at 28 games involving schools from 26 counties. Here's what we hope to cover with video:

As always, please call in your scores. Our toll free number is 1-888-472-9725. That is the best way to ensure that your score gets on Football Friday. This has been maybe the best year we've ever had in getting scores. Thanks to all.

If anyone ever has any questions about Football Friday, please let me know. I will be glad to answer them.

Hopefully, the weather will cooperate. If it does, we'll see you Friday night at 11.35 p.m. on WRAL-TV.
