Just a quick note to share that there are scattered tickets still available for some of the Museum of Life and Science's Santa Trains.

These are the late-night rides starting at 8:20 p.m. There are about 20 tickets available for tonight (Wednesday), which is opening night, along with spots available Thursday and Dec. 8.

Tickets are $15 per person and include the train ride, along with crafts, hot chocolate, face painting and a visit with Santa. Children under age 3 are free.  This is a very popular Christmas tradition for families in the Triangle.

Check the website for details and to buy tickets.
And see my earlier post on Santa trains for information about others in the Triangle. New Hope Valley Railway in southwest Wake County and the N.C. Transportation Museum in Spencer will begin running their Santa Trains this weekend. Some tickets are still available according to the websites, but act fast if you want to go.
