See scenes of Pullen Park from yesterday, today
As Raleigh gets Pullen Park ready to reopen on Nov. 19, see scenes of yesterday and today at this popular Triangle destination.

It's been a long two years without Pullen Park for many Triangle families.
The popular destination near downtown Raleigh with its historic carousel, kiddie train, playground and boat rides, closed for a major, $6.3 million overhaul in 2009.
When it reopens on Nov. 19, visitors will find a new carousel house; a new train depot; a big playground; a new welcome center; Pullen Place cafe; regular events; and much more. The new carousel house will allow the city to keep it open year round.
Check out Pullen Park's past and present in this image gallery. You'll see photos of family visits from past years as well as scenes from the renovations and refurbished carousel.
Enjoy!
