Divine Children's Show, the north Raleigh children's consignment sale known for its higher end and boutique items, will host a special sale this month to raise money for charity.

Children's Consignment for a Cause is May 15 to May 17 at Grove Park Chapel, 605 Sherron Rd., in Durham. That's just north of Brier Creek in Raleigh.

The sale will support the Grove Park Chapel Preschool and Vernon County Cancer Relief in Missouri.

"As some of you know my mom lost her battle with cancer in November," wrote Mendy Legleiter, the sale's owner, in an email to customers and consignors. "This organization really went above and beyond in caring for my mom and I want to give back to them."

Unlike Divine Children's usual sales, all items related to kids will be accepted from consignors, including all seasons of clothes in sizes up to 16; books, games, toys, equipment, shoes and more. Consignors earn 70 percent of sales. There is a $5 consignor free.

If you'd just like to donate your items to the sale, 100 percent of the sale of the items will go to the cancer relief group.

The preview show is May 15 for consignors, volunteers, promoters and grandparents.

The public sale is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., May 16, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 17. Many items will be half off from noon to 2 p.m., May 17.

Divine Children's usual sale is next slated for Aug. 17 to Aug. 22.
