CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — Spring Lake police on Wednesday are searching for two men charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a 24-year-old Dunn man in early November.

Devante Shamar Watson, 18, of Spring Lake, and Glenn Warren, 31, of Fayetteville, were charged roughly three weeks after the body of DeVante Saquan Tart was found on Nov. 5 behind a vacant apartment complex. The medical examiner confirmed Tart died from a gunshot wound.

Police said Tart's murder was not random and police said the shooting could have been gang related.

Anyone with information about Watson or Warren should contact the Spring Lake Police Department at 910-436-0350 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
