June is Oral Health Month, and the Poe Center for Health Education in Raleigh has been offering up weekly lessons about the importance of keeping a healthy smile for a healthy body.

They have two more sessions left on June 23 and June 30 at 2 p.m. each day. The sessions run about 20 to 30 minutes and take place Live on Facebook from the center's Dental Health Theater.

Here's what's coming up:

June 23 - Healthy snacking and calcium

Brushing and flossing aren’t the only ways to take care of our teeth! Let’s talk about healthy habits and nutritious foods that will help us have a smile that lasts for a lifetime.

June 30 - Visiting the dentist

Have you ever been to the dentist? Special guest Marshall Molar is back to help us talk about the important things that happen when we visit the dentist.

You can watch them both on the center's Facebook page.
