Sycamore Brewing in Charlotte is changing its name to Club West, according to paperwork filed with the North Carolina Secretary of State's office.

Sycamore Brewing closed its taproom temporarily in early January after the arrest of its co-owner, Justin Brigham, on burglary and sex crimes charges.

At the time, the brewery said it was closing “to allow space for processing, healing and beginning the work of reimagining” the space.

Brigham was arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including statutory rape of a child in December 2025. He co-founded Sycamore Brewing in 2013 with his wife Sarah Taylor.

Taylor said in January that Brigham was removed as co-owner and from any stake in Sycamore’s business operations in the wake of his charges.

According to court records, Taylor filed for divorce from Bringham in January following his arrest.

Filings with the North Carolina Secretary of State's Office show that Sycamore Brewing changed its name to Club West Brewing LLC on Jan. 7, 2026. Sarah Taylor is listed on the documents as a registered agent of the brewery, but Brigham is not.
