RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh store clerk was not behind the wheel, but she has been charged for her role in a deadly drunken driving crash.

Investigators say on July 28, 2005, Amy Jones was working at Six Forks Grocery when she sold alcohol to 19-year-old Ben Cummings.

Cummings was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Brandon Smith that was involved in the accident. Cummings died from his injuries sustained in the accident.

According to authorities, Jones no longer works at the store. A report will be submitted to the N.C. ABC Commission to determine what actions to take against the store.
