RALEIGH, N.C. — Foreign-born sex offenders living in North Carolina could soon be going home.
Agents have deported 23 people as part of Operation Predator.
Former North Carolina State University diving coach John Candler was one of the more high-profile cases. He was convicted of molesting a child in another state in the '60s.
In February, a judge ruled that Candler could stay in the United States. However, someone filed a motion to reopen the case.
