DURHAM, N.C. — This morning the Durham School Board has new leaders.
The board chose Mini Forte as the new chair and Steve Schewel as vice chair.
The board hopes the new leaders will help maintain order at future meetings.
Previous meetings have erupted into shouting matches.
The school system also welcomes a new superintendent this month.
Carl Harris took over the top spot.
