More than 2,000 customers were without power Thursday morning in Rolesville.
At 6:30 a.m., Duke Energy's outage map showed 2,525 customers without power in the area of Louisburg Road, S. Main Street and E. Young Street.

At 7 a.m., the outage had cleared.
The outage was first reported at 5:30 a.m. and was caused by equipment going offline, according to Duke Energy.
It's not the first major outage in the area this year. In January, Duke Energy reported that nearly 3,000 people were without power in Rolesville.
Traffic lights throughout the town and on the U.S. 401 Bypass were not working.
