Power back on for nearly 3,000 people in Rolesville, outage cause unknown

Duke Energy reported that nearly 3,000 people were without power in Rolesville and the surrounding areas. Traffic lights throughout the town and on the U.S. 401 Bypass were not working. 

As of 3 p.m., those power outages seemed to be resolved, according to the Duke outages map. 

Duke Energy has not provided a reason for this outage on their map.
