Rolesville Charter cuts ties with NextPrep Kids

Rolesville Charter notified parents on Dec. 13 that the school would no longer be working with the before-and-after school program NextPrep Kids. In the email, Principal Matt Barringer referenced "news reports about a recently dismissed Rolesville Charter Academy staff member." He did not name Fields or specify what news reports led the school to end that contract.

"We are aware of this individual's connection to NextPrep Kids at Rolesville. Given their ongoing lack of cooperation and unwillingness to communicate with families about this connection, we are seeking a new provider," Barringer wrote.
