A man on Thursday was charged in a March crash that killed a woman in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, witnesses told officers that a Dodge Ram truck crashed into a Kia Sportage just before 7 p.m. on March 21 at Capital and Highwoods boulevards. The crash was one of two that day in Raleigh.

Police believe the truck, driven by 37-year-old Chancellor Van Oden, ran a red-light at the intersection and hit the Sportage, driven by Reganne Elizabeth Johnson. Johnson was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
Oden was arrested and taken to jail. Officers charged Oden with the following:
- Second-degree murder.
- Felony serious injury by vehicle.
- Driving while impaired.
- Felony possession of cocaine.
Police said their investigation into the crash is ongoing.
